There’s something powerful about hearing a story come to life.
I’m excited to share that I am now over halfway through the final version of the audiobook for The Lost Souls. This process has been one of the most challenging and rewarding parts of bringing this world to you. Every line, every pause, every emotion is being carefully shaped to make sure the story feels as alive in your ears as it does on the page.
Even more exciting, I currently have a group of proof listeners diving into the audiobook. They’re helping me refine pacing, tone, and overall experience to make sure what you hear is the best version it can be. Their feedback has already been incredibly valuable, and it’s pushing this project to a higher level.
We’re getting close.
And with that, I want to take a moment to introduce you to three of the individuals at the heart of The Lost Souls, before fate, power, and transformation begin to reshape them.
Lorelei

Lorelei moves like the forest remembers her.
Quiet, precise, and always watching, she carries herself with a calm intensity that rarely breaks. Her bow is not just a weapon, it’s an extension of her will. Every step she takes is deliberate, every decision weighed against survival and purpose.
But beneath that control lies something deeper. Lorelei doesn’t just fight what’s in front of her, she feels something shifting in the world around her. Whether she wants it or not, she is tied to it.
Gideon

Gideon is a man built on discipline.
Where others hesitate, he acts. Where others falter, he stands firm. Years of hardship have shaped him into something unyielding. Someone who believes that strength is the only thing that keeps the world from collapsing in on itself.
But strength comes at a cost.
Gideon carries more than weapons into battle. He carries expectations. He carries regret and the quiet weight of knowing that sometimes, doing what is right doesn’t feel right at all.
Krema

Krema is chaos wrapped in confidence.
Quick with her hands and even quicker with her words, she thrives in the spaces others overlook. Rules have never meant much to her, only opportunity, survival, and staying one step ahead.
But Krema is more than just a rogue presence in the dark.
There’s a sharp mind, and a past she doesn’t openly share. She laughs easily, but not everything she hides is meant to stay buried forever.
